While RPG Forums Online is, and always will be, completely free to play, the costs of developing and maintaining it are not insubstantial.
Therefore, we have made the decision to allow our members to help support the project monetarily, by donating to a fund that is used solely to pay for our machine,
connection and other administrative overhead, as well as potential contest prizes like RPG games for your PCs and consoles.
Our hope is one day to have a large enough community of contributing individuals
that the project will become entirely self-sustaining and therefore independent of any one source of funding.
If you are a site member and enjoy its features, we hope that you'll help us out by donating.
If you are unable to donate to our fund, that is completely fine; you should in no way feel obligated to do so.
If you wish, a very convenient (and free) way in which you can help us gain free advertising and exposure is to
vote for us regularly with the "vote links" on the home page of this site,
all of which drive quite a bit of traffic (and new users!) when we are in high-visibility positions in their ranking lists.

Donations can be accomplished through a direct payment via PayPal, a trusted leader in secure internet commerce,
for any amount that you specify, which can be as little as $1.00.

At no time do we have access to any of your payment details; the entire transaction is handled by PayPal from start to finish.

If you wish to donate monetarily to the project and help defray these costs, you are certainly welcome to do so.
First, however, please be sure that you are familiar with our policies regarding monetary donations to RPG Forums Online:
Contributors can remain anonymous to the userbase, if requested at time of donation.
All donators will receive the "Donator Honour". Donators do not carry any other forum of reward.
No non-staff member may donate in excess of $500 per year.
Donations are stored in the RPG Forums Online's PayPal fund until used.
All excess donations are held over to pay for the next year's expenses.
Accepted donations in no way create contractual obligations on either party.
RPG Forums Online reserves the right to change these policies at any time, without prior notification.
