What is a podcast?:
A podcast is a web 'feed' of audio or video files placed on the Internet for anyone to subscribe to.
Podcasters' websites also may offer direct download of their files but the 'subscription' facility
available in applications like iTunes or My Yahoo!, to automatically delivery new content, is really what
distinguishes a podcast from a simple download or real-time streaming. This means that basically anyone
with the ability to play an MP3 file, either on the iPod, PC, PSP, mobile phone or other device
can listen to our podcast.
How do I listen to the podcast?:
"OK, that sounds great, but how to I listen to the podcast?", we hear you ask. There are several different ways
to do this. Firstly, if you have a tool like iTunes, you can simply subscribe to our podcast (it's free by the way)
by either clicking the 'iTunes Subscribe' link towards the end of this page or subscribing to
http://feeds.feedburner.com/rpgforumsonline.
Alternatively, you can use the other
links shown to listen to the shows via AOL, Yahoo!, Google or the like.
The other main way you can listen to the podcast content is by directly accessing the MP3 files for
each episode. For this, we suggest you visit the
Podcast Pantheon section of the forum
and click the 'Show Notes' topics, within which you will find details on each episode and links to these episodes.

Podcast content will be based upon your input and is pretty much up to you and what you would like to hear.
You might wish to use it to give a shoutout to your favorite site buddies, perhaps the site moderators will
announce up-coming new features, or if you have a new role-play starting that requires an extra boost,
this might be the place to make it known. And now think of your non-site gaming - are you stuck on an RPG
somewhere and need some assistance, or think that a certain new RPG should be reviewed, well this might be
your chance. Obviously we will run special podcast features, reviews, interviews and competitions but your
added input will make 'our' podcast into 'your' podcast.
So as a plea to all of you, think about some worthwhile content and
email us
regularly with items for inclusion on our podcasts, even if it's just to say a quick "Hello!".
And remember, you can also comment on existing shows via our
show notes.
